The Purpose of This Fast.

This fast is designed to usher in deliverance. Deliverance is our inheritance, it’s the children’s bread according to Mark 7:27. The Bible teaches us that certain types of deliverance can only come through prayer and fasting, Matthew 17:21. So, as we fast these 7 days we will also pray against specific spirits including rejection, rebellion, lust, confusion and double-mindedness, fornication and masturbation, then we will rejoice for what the Lord has done for us. During this fast, we will only consume water for the entire 7 days. On day 4 you may have a glass of 100% apple juice with no added ingredients if you are feeling faint. Fill your meal times with Bible study, praise, worship, and prayer. Allow your spirit to be full. Kill your flesh by telling it, you can’t have control over me.

7 Day Deliverance Fast

  • Day 1

Day 1 is all about repentance. Repentance is the turning away from your sinful and wicked ways while turning your heart back to God. Take time to reflect on all the ways you have put other things before God. Watch this video and

  • Day 2

Day 2 is focused on forgiveness. This day we will ask God to reveal every person we need to forgive; once revealed, we will pray and say ”By faith, I forgive “…., for ….” I release the memory of what they did from my mind, gut, and heart. I pray that … has a prosperous life pleasing to you, God. Let your love keep them and perfect them all the days of their life, In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

  • Day 3

Day 3 We tackle rejection. Rejection is the acceptance and agreement of lies over your life. You have exalted the lie over the Truth of God’s word. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, before the foundations of the world, Jesus died for you while you were still an enemy to Him, he chose you!! Repent for agreeing with the lie over your life; Repent for every word curse you proclaimed over your life; break the covenant you made with rejection and come into agreement with the Truth of God’s word. You are loved!

  • Day 4

Today we tackle rebellion! Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft according to 1 Samuel 15:23. It’s compared to witchcraft because rebellion is the attempt to circumvent God’s rules and precepts. It’s imperative that we submit to Jesus as Lord and not just Savior. Yes, God is the salvation of your soul but have you given him full Lordship over your life? Giving God Lordship over your life looks like acknowledging God in all of your ways and allowing Him to direct your path, Proverbs 3:6. It means including Him in your daily routine and decision-making. It looks like communicating with God throughout the day knowing He’s going to talk back to you and guide you throughout your day.

So our prayer today is, Lord, I repent for rebellion against you and not exalting you as Lord over my life. Search me oh Lord and reveal areas of disobedience to me. Uproot any rebellion in me. I want to be pure and submit to you. Renew in me a right spirit in Jesus Name, Amen!

  • Day 5

Day 5 is focused on defeating confusion and double-mindedness! Confusion can look like being a step behind, a lack of awareness, and a general fogginess. Double-mindedness is characterized in the Bible as saying “A double - minded man is unstable in all his ways - James 1:8. This can look like intended to do one thing but do another. This deals with instability.

Today’s prayer involves calling upon the mind of Christ to come upon us. Lord, you said that you will give us perfect peace if our mind is stayed on you, thank you for the helmet of salvation that protects our mind and our thoughts Thank you for giving us a sound mind! We receive our sound mind. We bind the spirit of confusion, We come out of agreement with the spirit of confusion and double-mindedness, we break every covenant made with the spirit of confusion and double-mindedness, we renew our covenant with the God of heaven and earth. We submit our minds back to the God of heaven and earth, the creator of all things, in Jesus Name, Amen

  • Day 6

Day 6 we focus on fornication and masturbation. Both fornication and masturbation are attempts at circumventing God’s precepts which state sex before marriage is a sin. Sex is only to be engaged in within the bounds of holy matrimony. When we allow ourselves to engage in that which is unlawful for us to do, we engage in rebellion and witchcraft. Masturbation is self-pleasure, it is the worship of self. Both of these acts are a sin against your own body.

Our prayer today is, “Father, we come to you with a repentant and circumcized heart asking for forgiveness for taking measures into our own hands by rebelling against you and your laws. We know it is not good for man to be alone and that every perfect gift comes from you, so Father we submit our desires to you, both fleshly and heavenly are laid at your feet. We look to you to be our comforter in times of distress. We renew our hearts and desires to you, in the Name of Jesus. Knowing that you will give us the desires of our hearts. We trust you to meet every need by faith, In Jesus Name we pray. Amen!
